Lingr on Google Groups

Lingr now has its own Google Group: Head over to Lingr discussion and join up.

We’ve created it so that you all — chatters, lurkers, room owners, Radar watchers, API integrators, bot developers, et al. — can talk more easily with each other, and with us — Danny, Kenn, Satoshi, and me. Please feel free to ask questions, request new features, report bugs, ask for help, discuss the API…

In case you haven’t been keeping close track, here are some other useful Lingr references:

And we always welcome feedback on this blog, or through our feedback form, or emailed directly to us at .

Web Two Point Oh

Yesterday was the opening day of the Web 2.0 Expo, here in San Francisco. Danny and I went to Ignite last night, which was great and had free beer. Hard to beat that.

Both he and I will be in and around at various events this week, mostly at the Web2Open events (which are free to anyone, along the BarCamp model) and at the BoF sessions. If you’re around, be sure to say hey.

Going to ETech

The Lingr team (well, all of us except for Satoshi) will be attending ETech next week.  If you'll be there too, please let us know and let's get together!

I have also organized an informal Birds of a Feather session about comet- I'd love to meet any of your interested in the topic and learn how to make Lingr even better.

Lastly, we've opened up an Etech room for discussion.  I'll be live-blogging in that room during the conference, so, you might check that out too.

Twitter

Lingr on Twitter.

Add us as your friend to get advance notice of new releases, status updates, too much insight into our day-to-day workings, and assorted miscellany.

If you haven’t seen it yet, Twitter is a hyper-simple way to communicate. It’s like a tiny little blog combined with a social network. All you do is post messages, and read your friends’ messages. You can send and receive messages via the web, your phone, IM, email, or various Twitter-specific applications. For OS X, Twitterific is superb. (You might want to turn off notification of error messages in the preferences, since you almost certainly don’t give a damn.)

If you don’t want to join up, you can also just follow the Lingr on Twitter RSS feed.
